Butter Chicken
A super easy, full flavored butter chicken recipe that beats any restaurant or take out!
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 ea onion medium, diced
- 1 tsp ginger grated
- 3 clove garlic minced
- 2 lb chicken breast cubed
- 6 oz tomato paste
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp fenugreek
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- .25 tsp black pepper
- 1 C heavy cream
Instructions
- heat large skillet over medium high heat. Add olive oil, butter, and onions. Sautee for 3-4 minutes. Add garlic and ginger and let cook for 30 seconds.
- Add chicken, tomato paste and spices. Cook for 5-6 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
- Add heavy cream and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
